OUR MLAs

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I am proud and excited to be our BC Liberal MLA for Richmond Centre.

I have lived, worked, and played in Richmond my entire life. I care deeply about this community and have spent seven years as a City Councillor and many years volunteering.

I believe in prudent fiscal management and the maintenance of a sustainable economy that supports our ability to provide for our families and sustains critical services such as health care, education and social services. In these uncertain times, this is more important than ever. Premier Gordon Campbell and the BC Liberals have clearly demonstrated that they understand this. Even in these challenging times we have increased funding to health care and education.

The BC Liberals have demonstrated proven leadership in managing the economy. We transformed British Columbia from a ‘have not’ Province under the NDP in the 90’s, to one of the leading provinces in the country. We have also done much to diversify the province’s economy through initiatives such as the Asia Pacific Strategy.

生長、工作、娛樂 － 我的一生都在列治文度過。我在本市當了七年市議員和多年的義工，十分關心這個社區。

我贊同審慎理財的原則以及維持一個可持續的經濟，以支持卑詩省的家庭，並且維持重要的服務，例如醫療、教育和社會服務。在現今不穩定的經濟環境下，這比任何時候都更重要。金寶爾省長和卑詩自由黨已經明確地表現對本省的情況很了解。即使在此困難的時候，省長和卑詩自由黨也增加了醫療及教育撥款。

過去八年，卑詩自由黨已經表現了其管理經濟的能力。他們把九十年代卑詩省在新民主黨管治下淪為「貧窮省」的惡劣環境扭轉過來，成為現在加拿大最繁榮的省份之一。本省經濟的多元化已見成效，亞太策略計劃便是其一。
